There's a ton of droids the Jawas had or even in Mos Eisley that have never shown up elsewhere despite mos eisly being a center hub from all across the galaxy.
Not to be "anti-D*sney" or anything, but each Sequel trilogy movie and show that we've gotten since Force Awakens has had a brand new droid in it that kind of takes away the established world building if new droids show up and then dissapear. I'm sure the PT did this too, but I can't think of anything off the top of my head.
So in-canon, the 19 years between Episode 3 and 4, we have had k2SO droids, Liea's CD player ladybug, the yellow NED dude, the droid from Solo, and now this rolling hard drive that have never been seen again once the battle of Yavin happened? Was Alderaan where the factories were for these robots?
I Like how in Mandaloran, Richard Simmons had pit droids working in her garage, and we saw R2 units doing different things that seem like a natural progression of how they would be used. (permanently in cargo lifts, speeders, etc)
