Are the Iron Man figma any good? I'm trying to decide on a birthday gift for someone special and I can't figure out if I should go with the original figma or go all out for one of the Hot Toys.

Also, is it the Mark VII from the first film? I know absolutely nothing about superheroes and I'm so confused with all the models and the different films. It seems like a lot of them are based off The Avengers movies rather than the Iron Man ones.

In case anyone's wondering, the Chogokin kind of sucks as a toy. It's very pretty and heavy and all that, but it poses like shit and isn't really satisfying to mess around with. That's mainly why I'm getting the figma.

Also, I always thought the promo shots just looked like gold paint. Compared to the Iron Man promos he just looks like a dull gold, so I guess I expected it.
