The original argument for 1/6th scale raptor has always been that it work on 3 scales all at once.
1:6th = accurate raptor scale in case you want to pose the figures with 1/6th Hot Toys Alan Grant figure
1:12th = The 1/6th raptor doubles as in-scale JP raptor to 1/12th action fgures
1:18th = the 1/6th raptor can also be a stand-in to 1/18th Utahraptor/Dakotaraptor
