And as a result, somehow they managed to pull off the best line imaginable for He-Man with Classics. MOTUC really is an amazing example of hating and screaming and cursing your way through hell and getting something truly incredible as a result. There's absolutely no way that a line as good as Classics would have been made if it were on retail shelves, even if you erased the 200X toy line debacle from history.

So really, the death of He-Man at retail turned out to be the best thing imaginable for fans of the figures.
