>>6461127>>6461127You're thinking of the original anime's version. Katoki's version of the Sandrock has always had the exact same number of thrusters as the Custom version, as well as the same face.
As for the face, all of the gundams share the exact same head as their upgrades, with only the Wing Zero sorta being different from the Wing thanks to its head feathers being able to open up. I think the MG Deathscythe vEW has a slightly different v-fin than the Hell's too, but I'm pretty sure that was a result of having to mold it in two parts.
The MG Wing vEW line was designed to be as easy to convert into the Custom forms as possible. That's why it was so confusing it took so damn long for them to come out.
