>>9008926I've tried a bit and come up with this. It's really flimsy and doesn't hold square because all of the plates are held on by a single stud. The geometry of it is also slightly different and it's not possible to make the angle plates square. My lego collection is about 10 years out of date so I don't know if there's any new pieces that could help, but it won't work like this.
