I was there while the episodes were getting dumped morning after morning. the omniverse threads then were a great deal of fun. as soon as omniverse came to a close I distinctly recall feeling like it was the end of an era. by that point all the quality stuff CN had was either already gone or on its way out (GL TAS, BTBAB, Thundercats 2011, Secret Saturdays, SBT, etc) and the kiddy humor shows had taken center stage. In many respects I see omniverse as not just the best ben 10 series but as DJW's swan song/magnum opus.
It isnt my intention to shit on fans of the reboot but it really came at a bad time. It practically danced on omniverse's ashes.the reboots' toys being as good as they were didnt only come as a surprise but almost as salt in the wound too.
