You can just use any modeling putty and spackle them over, sand it smooth, lay primer/surfacer on it to check that they're completely gone, and paint over it with your new skin color. You can also get rid of them to a great extent by melting pieces of the sprue into sprue goo (using plastic cement) and putty that on, sand it off when it hardens, and go from there. The third route is to use a lot of cement (which still melts the plastic, that's how it functions to begin with) and if you do it right, you then squeeze the pieces together and squeeze out some melted plastic like a peanut butter sandwich. Then sand that smooth. This is in reverse order of hassle/difficulty and I always at least do the latter approach if nothing else.
