I go to the Toyman Show in the St. Louis area every other month when they have it, and while the main room is stocked with everything you can imagine, the halls and upstairs area are just walls lined with Funko. And while that's fine...it's the same fucking Funkos being dealt by the same vendors year round. They never sell, and the sellers ask outrageous prices to ensure they will never move. I am sorry, you fat slob, but this special edition glow-in-the-dark con exclusive TMNT Funko is not going to sell for $350. It was here last year and it will still be here next year.
Inherently I have no issues with Funko, I have a few Godzilla ones myself, but it does reach a critical mass where they're just unnecessarily taking up space in retail and at shows.
