Granted the art in the comic is all over the place. Parker himself is drawn like a massive brickhouse when he's not in costume but a random young cop that appears in the story is bulky as hell too
That said, it's clear Venom was intended to be much, much more massive than Spidey from the get-go and the MAFEX doesn't really capture that
