>>7874651I'm the guy that took that pic, it's not the lighting. The eyes look bugged out and don't point in the same direction, making him look unfocused and goofy. The paint around the mouth is generally a crapshoot, with the paint for the teeth spilling up onto the snout or the gums being way too prominent like they are on mine. The only way to make the figure look good is to hide those flaws with shadows. The repaints skirt around this by having simpler paint detailing around the eyes and mouth, leaving less room for error. I'm pretty excited to see how the Burning Godzilla looks in person tbqh
