>>11543379Probably because they were disposable and not mainline characters, nor were their 1982-1983 figures even in production at that point in 1985. Well really every Joe in the 1982 line was eligible for "cartoon retirement" except Scarlett, Hawk, and Snake Eyes because they were allc rowded out by the large cast of 1984 - 1985 characters. My guess is Steeler was an easy pick because his MOBAT got kicked aside by Hasbro to sell the Mauler. The other two were probably arbitrary.
>>11543365She'll get reissued at a lower price and in a brighter shade of blue. The first Classified Baroness mold got used 3 times (carded figure, the one with the motorcycle, and the Crimson version). They won't waste this one away on a single-use figure most weren't able to get. The issue is will you like the bright blue color?
>You just have to wait.I disagree. This version will be one of those that will only go up once it goes out of production. Right now is the cheapest it'll probably ever be. Like I already posted, there'll be a few opened and loose ones that'll sell for less than the $150 average for one MISB, and that's where you can save a couple of bucks. Either that, or wait for the bright-blue repaint. Yeah it sucks. I just got through paying a guy nearly half of what he paid for three figures and the Rattler just to get one figure, and I feel guilty and like shit for doing it. But I've sat there wanting for prices to come down before only to get burned by them going up instead.
