>secure the part in the vise>put the vise on its little stand, have both hands free to place a tiny PE bit on the part>take the vise in one hand, use the other hand for fine adjustments/repositioning of the PE bit before the glue setsThe advantage of holding the part in the vise versus just using the other hand is that the vise can grab the part securely and only use a tiny area to do so (while the fingers would cover over half of the part) which is important when the part is supposed to be covered in delicate PE sticking out every which way (as in pic related).
