I'm totally fine with statue discussion personally. That brings up the can of worms on what is a statue versus a figurine. Is it with one point of articulation? Or is the size of the statue? Are plushes not allowed either? etc. As long as it's understood that statues aren't the focus of this board (obviously) then where's the harm?
