>>5503327They have the "disk-like or rounded" look to them but if they decide to use a 2.0 body you get a nice update to the articulation with shoulders popping out a bit for extra range.
Also newer figmas should come with the updated base arm that bends a little more now.
As for the skirt, I only have a couple of older figmas and newer ones but the plastic is far softer and flexible on say, Rin 2.0 versus Mako from BRS granted it's a rough comparison. Kitakami for instance has a shorter skirt but it's stiffer versus Rin's who's longer but has hidden cuts that allow for better leg movement given how long it is.
Also there's ball jointed wrists versus the old peg hands. Granted stuff like Bubble Head Nurse still retains the older hands for whatever reason.
Legs seem to be largely the same. Some characters hide the cut and joint a little better like Ninja Slayer or Solid Snake.
