This way of getting the old one out and the new one in that I figured out worked really fucking well, by the way. I just cut out two small portions of the pin's channel that made it possible to push the whole neck part out in one piece. This is a lot less destructive than the other methods I saw and it actually stays in by itself perfectly fine.
