So one year and there's still no issue.
As for splits, it depends on the figure. The clothes can prevent the motion and you'll risk damage to move it past that. It's basically the same thing as when the sculpt gets in the way of a toy's motion.
So if you try to force a pose, I'd guess the stitching will come undone where it's tucked into the limb and not at the cloth itself.
They're pretty quality so i don't see any issues popping up anytime soon.
