But those almost never came up in the story apart from a few mentions here and there and some comic panels, and none of the characters actually lived in those regions.
The Ignition Trilogy's fast-paced, plot-driven nature wouldn't have allowed for much exploration anyway, and by the end almost all the locations were destroyed or abandoned, or just plain stopped being relevant to the wider story. It was like a trade off.
