So. This is probably the best looking of the bunch. Might see if I can add some more coats and get it to turn out okay. Just seems to me that if I don't thin it to like a 50 50 percent and it moves around when I shake the try, I get results like the bottom left in the previous pic vs spine thing like this.
But that being said, I think I am now having a technique problem. So in the past, I've adhered to a "don't ever touch the paint again" rule. But then I'm getting inconsistent coats. Also trying to do long strokes from top to bottom seems to contribute to some pooling. Using a round 3.
So the question here... Is what does good painting technique look like? I know gelgoog guy and a few of you criticized my paint thickness in the past, so I kinda wanna make sure I'm doing this right. Pressure of the brush, stroke length, getting the right amount of paint on the brush. I'm thinking of working in a retarded as well... Can I pre mix that in a bottle with some water and any ideas on how much? I experimented a bit and it really made it dry slow, but didn't really do much for leveling so I had it too thick I bet.
