>>9374677>Do you have any evidence to back that up?LOL, it's fucking common sense based on years of why cartoons existed post-70s.
Cartoons are created to sell merch and the merch sold like shit, thus cartoons get canned.
Only reason Young Justice even came back is because it's DIRECTLY supported by subscribers to DC/HBO Max.
>Marvel shows Netflix? Directly supported by subscribers. ABC? Prime time and network television means ad revenue out the ass. Disney Channel/Toon Disney? See Hasbro's success in actually producing toys that sell.
When it didn't sell? SW Rebels.
Movies? Directly supported by ticket sales, home movie sales, and toys.
This is also the reason why DC's direct to DVD/BDs continued to be made, despite Mattel's failure to capitalize on them.
Everyone one of these is plain as day, yet you want to close your chimp eyes, shut your chimp ears, and pretend the obvious isn't as clear as day because you want to pretend that Mattel somehow wasnt at fault.
>The McFarlane shit sits just as much as the Mattel stuff didLOL NO. You obviously weren't around when DCUC shit used to sit around. Nevermind these threads actually exist and are populated day in and day out, co-existing with McFarlane's own General.
>have you seen DC's comic sales lately?lately? They've had problems for over a decade and what is going on right NOW isn't all that different from before they started taking guns away, especially the past 3 or so years.
