>>8338386>A lot of Targets are refusing to do stock checks,Because the employees are too lazy to find the item number in their handheld devices. Ask them to search for "Godzilla 1989" and "Godzilla 2003" to narrow the results. That should at least tell them if there are any in the store (which they would by now if they were going to get the new figures). You'll probably have to get lucky and try to find an employee who knows where they keep the NECA box in their stockroom for the NECA vendor who comes every once and a while to place the NECA toys out on the shelf. Products sold by vendors at Target (such as Coke, Pepsi, and Nabisco products) aren't categorized with the rest of the stuff Target sells, so the Target employees in the red shirts don't have any way to look up the exact stockroom location of those products on their handheld devices. Just try to find someone who looks like they've worked at Target for a while, and might know where they keep the NECA stuff in their backroom. I'll probably be pretty close to their toy department anyway. They can go fetch it for you and sell it, even if the vendor doesn't place it on the shelf. This is what Target employees have to do if someone wants something like a 6-pack of Coke that isn't out on the sales floor, so it's not exactly out of the ordinary to make this request.
>also I've had zero luck getting anyone to even answer the damn phone in the first place.Your best bet is to try to call their electronics department, since they are usually required to answer the phone, and they'll be right next to the toy department.
