>>9836073>Just how bad is that QC?-Hip and specially knee joints can be varying degrees of loose. Elbows are a tad too loose for my tastes too. Seems like it's a common problem.
-On mine the tuft of hair on top of her head was falling off easily. It has a peg that isn't glued to the head so it can be rotated, I just added some paper in the hole and now it stays in place no problem and still can be moved.
Not QC, but regarding the design:
-Torso joint is very limited in range, that's pretty inexcusable taking into account that the ten years old Hibiki figma is miles better in that regard.
-Hip movement is somewhat limited due to the skirts (they're not hard ABS plastic as I've read somewhere, but they're still pretty stiff).
-The scarf is cumbersome but I don't see how they could have made it better. It would look too sharp if it was made of ABS and I don't think they would have been able to make it look good using actual thick cloth. The small scarf joints having soft ratchets and the base having pieces to support both sides of the scarf are helpful (you can choose between just using some extra pieces on the main stand arm that pegs to the back or use extra arms on each side of the base).
-Something I like is that changing faces is way less bothersome than on the figma, as you don't need to remove each side of her headphones first.
The thing is, after all of that I still don't really regret buying it. The sculpt is pretty much perfect, the paintjob is flawless, and she looks great on my shelf. Nonetheless I really hope they fix the joint issues and the next ones are better in that regard.
