>>11608908>I know someone who's a massive TNG fan and was gonna get the set no matter the cost but as soon as I showed them the leak they didn't want it anymoreI'm super curious if Lego over-reached on the $400 asking price. it's the type of thing where -everybody- will see it on the shelf, and smile, and that will be good enough. they'll look at the $400 price tag and agree it looks "wow!" but dang that's too much. $400 and they can't even throw in Pulaski and Yar? Guinan was never in the opening credits. Is Lego really going to make more sets to include them?
my fear is that if it shelf-warms, and the public rejects it, it will give Lego the idea that "the public" doesn't want Star Trek Lego sets at all, and that will be the end of it. (except Picard and Guinan keychains in a few years)
