Toys like this were cheap and didn't feature any sort of articulation or play features but they were still striking enough to stand out in my childhood memories. I had an orange frilled lizard by the same company that was a lot of fun. Recently found one of these guys in a different color among my old toys. He stood out so I decided to hang on to him while sorting through that stuff. Apparently a couple of these actually inspired the design of some D&D monsters? Pretty cool stuff. I want to get one of those that you posted, too.
