>>6426179Actually, you'd be surprised how much the internet has expanded garage sales. I use craigslist to go looking for them locally in upstate NY, and I find a lot of neat stuff where people take photos and put them up in the listings. Church sales do it too, and you can sometimes find good stuff at those if you get there early.
[spoiler:lit]This is also a good way to make some side-cash; I picked up a Supertrain Megazord for $10 at a sale once and flipped it on eBay for $60 even undercutting the prices at the time. More recently I've been working my way through this box of stuff that I got in several installments from various sales since summer began, partly by looking up the garage sales online and finding any that had interesting photos.[/spoiler:lit]
