>>10660938Let it sit and cool for a little while under slight tension (gravity should do fine), then if it still isn't entirely straight once you've cut off a bit glue it in with that side straight and the top side arcing backwards. Should look ok.
If you really need it absolutely straight though go buy some really thin piano wire (aka cold drawn steel wire). Might be hard to find something reasonably in scale for 1/72, but 1/35 ought to work better. And make sure you have a solid pair of quality side cutters for this, cheap stuff or the super sharp ones made just for plastic aren't going to make a dent in piano wire.
