>>8671331I had one of those back in the day. They were quite nice. Also, speaking of which, I like the authentic of the “fat” rifles they have compared to the skinny ones from some of the other media. The skinny ones sometimes look like they’d snap in half if they were hit over a knee. While the “fat” ones look like they’d break said knee instead.
In this picture, the clone trooper is holding the “fat” DC-15A in his right hand.
I sort of which there were some in-universe explanations on why there’s a skinny mold of the weapon and a beefy mold.
Also, the beefy mold was a whole lot sturdier than the skinny versions of the toy’s mold. The skinny mold became more popularized when the CGI The Clone Wars figures started releasing (which would bend like crazy and end up looking deformed) and the beefy mold came out less and less. Another cool thing about the beefy mold is that, sometimes, instead of being all black, the stock will sometimes have some brown paint applied to it, making it look like it’s made out of some kind of wood.
The skinny mold would histxeother be black or be molded in a more easily manipulated, almost rubbery at times grey plastic
