Okay, I promised I'd post photos of G Compatible Kaiser once I finished, so here it is.
I had a lot of fun putting this thing together. Mostly really easy: I would trust my brighter-than-normal 9-year-old nephew to put one together. Any challenge I felt was probably just because I've mostly only done SD Gundam and Danball Senki before.
That said, there were just a few parts that seemed like the engineers were just trolling me: Grain-of-sand size clear plastic gems that were supposed to be oriented in their sockets a certain way, as if I could even tell which way they were facing with my naked eye. I don't have one of those fancy magnifying lamps.
There was one part that plain-and-simple couldn't fit where it was supposed to go, right next to another piece, so I had to shave down that edge so it would fit correctly.
I took people's advice with the nubs and did the thumbnail trick, and later discovered the backwards-knife version of that.
Please excuse the boring pose and setup: I'll do some more dynamic poses when I get a clear stand worked out for it, since this thing is really, really backheavy.
Anyway, thanks to this thread for the advice and encouragement.
