>>5836990>>5837051I also had no prior experience with model kits. Just make sure you've got a pair of snippers, spare X-acto blades, and maybe a fine file. I started with the astromech kits while I was waiting on Phasma and 3PO to come in. Those don't have any chrome to scuff or chip off, and they're pretty complex so once you get to Phasma or a Trooper, those seem really simple by comparison, and you have a better idea of where to cut the nubs.
Also, kit Phasma puts the BS Phasma to shame.
