>>10101361I’ll warn you, it’s got a very slow pace. It’s definitely not for everyone, especially people who want action. But that’s also one of the things I like about it. Unlike almost every other Disney Star Wars or Marvel thing, this show isn’t concerned with keeping a quick pace, or even having action in every episode. It also has very little humor. No quips or sarcasm, and most of what’s funny is more ironic.
Honestly, as I talk and think about this show, it gives off a very Sergio Leone Western feel, specifically Once Upon a Time in the West. There are long stretches of mundane life punctuated by acts of violence. You also have a cast of characters that are either connected to each other in ways they don’t know, or are strangers who are forced to work together because of circumstance. It’s nice seeing Disney doing something that’s so different from their usual output.
Anyway, enough rambling. If you decide to watch it, I hope you enjoy.
