I lived in this shitty ass tiny town, really -REALLY- small minded people. I made the best out of a situation growing up, and it went really well. When I could afford to move (and I did) I was finally in a social circle that wasn't pseudo-hicks, I could be 100% myself.
There is a difference between flat out deceiving people, and choosing to hide something that you know will cause more controversy than good. Asking a girl how her day was instead of insisting on explaining why Nurgle is your favourite chaos god is a perfectly legit thing to do, so that's what I did.
Also didn't blame my toys, blamed myself for getting careless.
