that's the whole point of D&D:
to make
YOUR OWN
adventure
you buy a couple of rule books, some dice, and with a few more additional pieces of paper you have infinite play. that's what D&D is (was?)
it's a slap in the face to D&D fans that this set costs nearly $400
(ugh... to be clear... YES! It's price-per brick, comparably better than similar-sized sets, exactly. if all you want is LEGO than yes, it's okay, maybe even "good" set.
BUT... D&D was not supposed to be about spending cash, it was to spark creative story telling and personal interactions for the price of a few rule books)
