However, I do agree with the plague of Studio in that vein. Using real pieces means having a restricted parts library and having to think outside of the box within the limits given to you to make something. Then you factor in gravity and tolerances. There's more brainpower going into making something irl than in Studio. But what if you just can't afford real Bionicle? I mean, I guess, sure, but that's not being creative. It's the equivalent to making a custom character in a video game and showing everyone like you did something of merit. This is even more offensive when you use custom parts modelled by other community members for your digital builds. You didn't go into Blender and make it yourself, you just borrowed someone else's hard work to show of whatever half baked idea you cooked up without factoring physics or color limitations, and the end result is just embarrassing to look at. I do not like Studio makers like this at all. They have no real grasp of what building is like. I hold more respect for people branching out with makihn printed parts, resin casts, even syatem based builds, because they're even in the smallest capacity, acting like artisans. Making something. Studio builders that just spam whatsver wherever with no care are, again, like people dicking around in a Soul Caliber or Elden ring character creator and acting like they accomplished something. Sure, there's novelty in something like that, but it will forever be inferior to anything produced irl, whether with official pieces or custom parts. Honestly just so goddamn tired of the Studio spam at this point.
