Bionicle also shifted writing teams, picked up Ol Greggy boy, and lost the feeling of unknown. They overexplained everything. Theres certainly magic in the fact that the entire bottom half of the universe was absolutely never elaborated on, in any capacity, and the fact Greg opened the can of worms that is parallel universes. People read way too far into Bionicle. Its a simple high fantasy journey with archetype heroes, and it ends with a jesus style sacrifice for the greater good, twice. Its not some super deep commentary on existence. Its a tumor brained schizos fever dream exaggeration of his normal pills.
