Like an AAA game raising its price to $60-65, and a bunch of other devs follow them because they pushed the overton window up on that practice, now that price range is the new expected AAA standard, but even non AAA devs try to push their games to that price too now even if they don't have the same quality and expenses justification that led to that price range increase just because the others are doing it.
That's whats happening with 1/6 right now.
