Westerners just can't do the cute style well at all. Conversely, I wills ay a lot of nendos of western things look kinda weird, but overall any attempts at making cute versions of characters by these American companies look ugly. The only ones I can thing that pulls it off are the various Transformers minis in this style. Robot Heroes from a decade ago were great, Bot Shots were ok, and recently these Alt-modes figures were pretty fun.
