This Brave series went alongside the anime beast wars and other shows for years until in 2000 the series ended for good and Takara decided to make a new Transformers anime after Beast Machines ended and flopped hard. They were making a show in the style of Braves as that is what the Japanese public wanted and it did extremely well over there.
That's all it is, a Brave series with Transformers.
