the JLA Blue Beetle figure makes me wish DC wasnt so pants on head retarded when it came to advertising and marketing their characters to a broader audience. this figure along with the kenner swamp thing and superman lines really prove to me just how much they could have done with their characters individually that they passed on. sometimes I dream of how different things could have been if toybiz didnt loose the marvel license. can you imagine the likes of plastic man or shazam getting character specific lines in the 90s? for that matter imagine a range of charlton action hero figures complete with a bug vehicle ala the blackbird.
