>>9092129>>9092246Somewhat related to this, but it’s wild to me how a lot of people still don’t know that the Hayabusa armor set, especially the helmet and the sword, are a reference to Ninja Gaiden’s main character Ryu Hayabusa. And it was put into Halo 3 because, a year or two prior, Team Ninja (the people who developed Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive) had a Spartan 2 character in Dead or Alive 4 named Nicole, and she was a hidden ulockable character. Ryu Hayabusa is also a character who appears in the Dead or Alive games, because the two series actually take place in the same universe.
