If I wanted to really make a Kenner homage, it would be in a preposed battle stance, be covered in spikes and pointy bits (Kenner LOOOVED them some sharp shit everywhere), and I would have included some goofy non-canonical changes too, because Kenner was funny like that.
Like look at how funny and awkward this guy is. Right arm in a permanent "I'm gonna slash ya" kinda pose, left arm in a strange contorted pose where the tendons in his hand are stretching and straining to their limit, all while he takes a stride forward. All of the Kenner Preds also looked pissed as hell, NECA's up there looks like he just took an Ambien.
