With medieval fantasy you can just say that someone found a lost world where dinosaur exists, and breeding and controlling the dinos and the dragons will give the warring kingdom superior arsenals. It'll allow for some armor reuse between clans, between dinos, and even amongst humans of different kindom. I think the 1/18th fantasy setting market is less saturated than sci-fi or modern trooper.
We just need a couple armored knights, light armored rogue/thief like characters, some civilian-robed mages, maybe some canons and catapults.
