For starters, he's far more poseable - since his hands are hinged and his feet are on balljoints, he can actually take advantage of his elbow and knees to do leaning or crouching poses. His tail is also on a balljoint, so it can move from side to side or angle up or down a bit. His face can actually move as well, but it's tied to a play feature. Snarl here actually comes with no less than five different play features, which was surprising, since he's just a Deluxe - the first one, shown in my first pic, is that turning hsi head left or right makes his jaw open. The second is shown here - sliding the upper half of his left hip reveals his Spark Crystal - originally a green BM Maximal one, but Universe swapped that crystal for a red BM Dinobot one (why? Who knows) and then covered it with an Autobot tampograph, because the Universe storyline only had two factions and reclassified Maximals and Predacons as Autobots or Decepticons, respectively.
