>better business bureauHonestly, never use this as a threat. It makes you sound like the Boomer Final Boss. BBB isn't any form of "official" authority/government agency. It's basically a scam that operates as a parasite on peoples' bad experiences. If you're a business, and you start receiving bad reports on BBB, you basically pay a fee for them to be removed. That's it. It doesn't do anything to actually protect consumers, and really nothing to "punish" bad business practices other than an extortion fee. And let's face it: no one under 50 even looks at that shit anyway.
I mean, I'm not telling you that you're wrong to do it. By all means if you want to, go for it. Just never tell the business you're going to do it; you'll instantly lose some of the intimidation factor of your threat.
