With all that said, however, I still have to agree that Lego dropped the ball hard in around 1998 design-wise and never really picked it back up in my opinion. After the success of their licensed shit, they started coming up with more parts for more MOC-like designs, barely any original themes, only licensed bullshit, then in the 2010s the plastic quality started dropping sharply because they built factories in 3rd world shitholes like Hungary, China and Mexico and because they want to sell "more parts for the same price". Now come the LGBT brain poison bullshit and the nostalgia fag milking...
Picrel, I bought the new lion knight castle because I live in Hungary and a friend works at the lego factory so I could get it at half the price, but it doesn't measure up to the old castle sets.
