The singing live action belle was $30 and it shelf warmed so hard my local Target still has a few. The new singing Jasmine is $20 but they made her bodice out of molded plastic to save money. The non singing Belle doll in the image you posted was also $30. I have that doll, and her dress has about four layers of fabric under it. It also had a hard time selling at TRU.
The new "collectors" Jasmine has been lowered from $30 to a $20 price point in hopes that she wont shelf warm as hard. They put her in a big fancy (yet cheap) box, and she was also given eyelashes to help her stand out, but the dress quality is basically non existing.
