It was an interesting attempt at making seamless bodies by placing hollow plastic body parts over a wireframe armature, then covering it with a cloth "skin." It was a good try, and they looked quite nice from the front, but sadly, their bendy limbs looked strange from side view. But anyway, it does show that Bandai can come up with some interesting ideas...I hope they have something unique up their sleeve for seamless SHFs.
