Both have QC issues, but I also noticed that there's a huge disparity in how classic superman and red son superman's faces were painted.
Red Son superman has a much more lively, colorful face, whereas classic superman has a more pallid sickly looking face.
RS Superman is also a bit taller.
Classic superman got the short end of the stick almost everywhere.
