>>5977393I have no pretense that the toys of that era stand up today, but it'd be ridicilous to expect that anyway - the only reason I'm into collecting toys is nostalgia, and seeing I mostly grew up in the early 90's and a lot of those -masters and Pretenders showed up at flea markets, there was a want but no have, so I have more affinity for those later year toys than I do for the 84-86 toys which I only saw very rarely.
Actually having a minty toy of something as bad as Landmine gives me a better appreciation of it, while a much nicer toy like Skullgrin is a bit of a letdown since it's damn near impossible to get him without a rash on his rubber parts.
