Up until I got Red Wing, I had never owned any Seeker of any kind ever (though one of my brothers had the original Starscream when we were little, so I knew what the mold looked like). I do know from pictures of previous Seekers over the years that the general method of transformation for these guys usually just has the bot mode blatantly hanging off from the bottom. These guys kinda make the effort to hide that - the arms bend and tuck into the chest cavity, the shins split open and retract on themselves to hide the thighs, and the head dislocates entirely and moves further up along the nosecone. It's not perfect, but it does a much better job of hiding the bot mode than the Siege mold does. Also, it loses points for not having any landing gear.
