I'm so sorry for this novel of a post. I would greatly appreciate any advice you anons might have about this manufacturing issue on one of my plush. Pic related shows his right hand, which consists of two semi-circle shaped fabric pieces sewn together, one on top and one on the bottom.
The problem is that the hand's top side was sewn on inside-out, so the soft fabric side is inside the plush and the rougher back side is facing out. This plush wasn't cheap, so I want to ensure it lasts, and the wrong side of the fabric seems to be pilling already despite gentle handling.
I have almost no sewing experience, but I do have a sewing machine, a hand sewing needle, and a thread ripper, and I know the basics of operating them. Is it worth it to try to flip and resew this piece of fabric myself, or are there any plush makers or repairers I could commission to do this for me? Thank you very much.
>>9327511Those are very cute! Their tush tags don't offer up any information, but on the hang tag, Elsie the Cow has a registered trademark none of the other animal names do. She's apparently a mascot for Borden Dairy, now out of business, so they must have had a deal with HEB Grocery. She has a distinct design unlike the generic Pantry Pals cow, which supports your hypothesis that these designs weren't unique to the grocery chain. I couldn't find any more info than that, unfortunately.
